Overnight Oats are a staple for the busy college student, if you haven’t tried making this super simple breakfast now is your chance. This recipe is PERFECT for those crisp fall mornings on your way to class and can be eaten chilled or warmed up!
We love sharing delicious easy recipes designed specifically with college students in mind. Mornings can be hectic and it’s easy to forget to eat a healthy breakfast but with this recipe missing breakfast will be a thing of the past! You can even use the base of this recipe and change the ingredients to make overnight oats any season of the year.
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- 1/2 milk of choice
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons of your apple diced
Okay, now here’s the easy part. Grab your favorite mug, bowl, or mason jar and mix all the ingredients together. Cover and pop it in the fridge overnight or at least 8hrs and boom it’s ready! You can’t get much easier than that!
